Brittany Schmidt-Hess - LMT

Brittany is a recent graduate of the Therapeutic Massage program at Madison College.  She was born with a passion for helping others, but it took a few paths to get it right.

While working as a CNA, Brittany became fascinated with the brain and nervous system and decided to enroll at the Institute of Health Sciences. In 2014, Brittany graduated as an Electroencephalography Technician.  She performed a variety of neurological diagnostic tests at the Veterans Hospital in Madison, and noticed that medical providers often focus on a specific area of the body without viewing it as a whole.  As a result, Brittany felt called to learn more about holistic approaches to wellness. After reflecting, she decided to return to school to become a Licensed Massage Therapist.

Brittany's current approach to massage therapy is to address the client as a whole, while promoting mind-body connection as well as effectively relieving areas of tension.  She is proficient in relaxation, deep tissue and prenatal massage. Brittany plans to continue  to expand her knowledge of healing modalities to include,  hot stone, bamboo-fusion, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy.

When not massaging, Brittany enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with her boyfriend and three kids.
